Seasons of the Spirit Curriculum
Our two's and three's Sunday School class is currently using Seasons of the Spirit Christian Education curriculum. The biblical premise of Seasons of the Spirit is that the word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12). Seasons of the Spirit is lectionary based curriculum meaning the curriculum follows the same text used in Sunday morning worship. The children and youth hear the same text in Sunday school as in worship.
It is our hope at Church of the Pilgrims that Seasons of the Spirit will provide God's people with lectionary-based, ecumenical resources that empower all ages to be transformed in Christ as they:
• explore meaning and mystery in the Bible;
• celebrate in worship, sacraments, education, and service;
• engage in ministries of love, justice, and witness;
• live in inclusive communities of faith shaped and led by the Holy Spirit.
