About Us

Welcome to Church of the Pilgrims! We hope the information you find our website helpful in introducing you to our community of faith. We invite you to be part of this joyful community, this Presbyterian Church (U.S.A) community, “where all are pilgrims but none is a stranger.” We are a diverse congregation, with a commitment to inclusiveness, hospitality and social justice. Children, youth and adults, singles, couples and families are all a valued part of our inter-generational community of faith. It is our hope that when someone walks through our doors, they can be themselves and experience God within a compassionate Christian community. We hope to meet individuals where they are at in their Christian faith journey. In addition to worship, we gather regularly for fun and fellowship, study and support.

Our Sunday morning Christian Education program (September-May at 9:30 a.m. ) offers opportunities for young children and adults to nurture their faith in a supportive environment.

Small groups meet regularly for young adults, seniors, gays and lesbians, new mothers, and for spirituality, study, and fellowship.

We are actively engaged in our local community, putting our faith into action in a variety of ways. Pilgrims has a strong history to social justice around local and global issues.

A long-standing tradition at Pilgrims is Sunday Buffet, served the first Sunday of each month in the Fellowship Hall- an opportunity to make new friends and renew old friendships. On other Sundays, we gather for coffee and refreshments in our Dupont Pilgrims Art Gallery, or outside on the front porch. Church of the Pilgrims is proud to serve Fair Traded Coffee and Tea at both our Sunday buffet and coffee hour.

Come join us at 22 nd and P!
