2007 ARTIST APPLICATION

All artists of original fine arts and crafts are invited to apply for the Dupont Circle Fall Fine Arts and Crafts Festival.  The festival will be on Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on 22nd Street between P and Q Streets, NW in Washington, DC.

This will be the fifth year of the festival.  We have grown in vendors, activities and attendees each year and we anticipate the growth will continue.  Last year there were more than 70 vendors and over 2,000 attendees.  According to the most recent census the average income of local residents is over $90,000.00.  Attendees appreciate original art and believe in supporting artists.

This will be the first year that NEW applicants will be juried.  There is a non-refundable jury fee in addition to the registration.  Our goal is to have the widest variety as possible of original arts and crafts.  Special consideration will be given to artists from Washington, DC, particularly those from the Dupont Circle neighborhood.  No new import or commercial vendors will be accepted.  However, a limited number will be allowed for vendors who have participated in previous festivals.

A limited number of booths are still available.  The Jewelry category is full.  Any new jewelry artists will be placed on a waiting list.  We are accepting applications in all other categories.

The festival is hosted by Church of the Pilgrims Presbyterian Church.   Please contact Jonathan Mertz at dupontcirclefestival@yahoo.com or (202) 387-6612 if you have any questions.  Please read the entire application and contract before contacting Jonathan.
