Theology on Tap

photo of the Brickskeller

“Theology on Tap” is a weekly Bible study for young adults held periodically through out the year in four- to five-week series. Visitors and newcomers are always welcome. The Bible studies are designed for those who have never participated in Bible study before. In past series we have studied the parables of Jesus, stories from the book of Genesis, the letters of Paul, the Gospel of John, and reading the Bible through Third World Eyes. (See our Calendar page for upcoming events.) We meet at the Brickskeller Tavern across the street from the church for dinner at 6:30 p.m. (“food and fellowship”), followed by interactive Bible study led by the pastor, Jeff Krehbiel , at 7:30 p.m. (“beer and Bible study,” or “soda and scriptures”). Why do we hold a Bible study in a bar? Because it is more fun! It also helps us make the connection that scripture and our faith should relate to our lives outside the church. If you would like to be included in future Evites, send Jeff a note jeff.krehbiel@verizon.net. We would love to have you join us!
